Hypoid Bevel Vs Straight Spiral Bevel – What’s the Difference?

Spiral gears come in many different varieties, but there is a fundamental difference between a Hypoid bevel gear and a Straight spiral bevel. This article will describe the differences between the 2 types of gears and discuss their use. Whether the gears are used in industrial applications or at home, it is vital to understand what each type does and why it is important.
